Brey went away for Scout Camp. So Leila and I braved the Arts in the Alley by ourselves. It was fun. I did buy a little nic-nack. It's a cute crafted fish (well i first bought a lady bug and we just HAD to get the fist to please the toddler).
Crystal and her daughter, Clara, and baby son came too. Clara and Leila sat on my lap and watched the HS marching band perform. It was really fun to hear and watch the instruments. We sat directly in front of percussion- so watching the mallets was a definite bonus to connect the sound with the motion. Clara's favorite was watching the saxophones.
