18 Month Check Up

This is Leila's Growth Chart. Yes. She is tall. She has been and probably will always be. That blue colored line is the 96th Percentile- and for a 24 month old (that is in 6 months) her height is in that 96th Percentile! So yes, if she doesn't grow AT ALL then she could make the 96th Percentile until then she is above it! :o) Hope did point out that Leila can now ride the fun rides at Kings Island!
Her visit went ok. She got the combo shot and the flu shot. The only concerns is her 'tippy toe' walking. She does it ALOT and that might be a sign that her ligaments are too tight down by her Achilles tendon. So we are going to be doing stretching with her to loosen them- and keep an eye on how often she actually does do the tippy toe walking so we can see if there is improvement. Its something that could have happend inutero- she might have not developed the ability to stretch her feet then for development. Who knows.
I'm going to seriously start eliminating the bottle- which i think will be very stressful for both me and Brey. Wish us luck! She doesn't like milk in a cup or sippie or with a straw- we will see how she adapts to change. So far we haven't done anything to her bed- I entered her in a photo contest- so I'm hoping she wins and wins the bed rail- which is one of the prizes!
