ok, so moving hasn't been the easiest thing- im missing a few things and really hoping i marked the boxes good enough to find stuff that im already needing.
leila is so much fun. i really enjoyed her as a baby but now she is having her own fun. Tami has a little wooden table and chairs-from her boys - and leila knows how to sit on it and play with her barn and little people toys on it. she even will pull up her train and sit on the train and play on the table.
the other night, we were both surprised as she signed the word bath! i really didn't want to take the time and sign EVERYTHING so we started with 'bath' and 'food' and 'done'. and well, she now can do them. so i am working on 'help' 'drink' 'cracker' 'more' and 'bed/sleep'
she also can recognize lots of words! she knows 'shoes- bring them at a request and knows that means going outside and then she also will bring me shoes when i think she wants to go outside. (I love that!) she knows the words sit, come, car and follows very good directions of 'stop' and 'clap'
she still LOVES her barney video- oh my I hear those songs before i wake up- they are engraved in my mind!!! She actually sings along with -standing out side with my mouth opened wide -she'll sing 'A A A A A A A' which is super adorable to hear. She waves back -sometimes before- the barney waves during the 'race car' song and during 'if you are happy and you know it' she does the part to say 'hooray! as they lift their arms- she uses it every time-even though its the 3rd verse.
oh i am just amazed at her. eating is going good still- im trying some different sippies and hope we can stop the bottle thing when i run out of bottle liners- no sense in keeping them and why throw them away?? Rather than list the million things she eats- its easier to say that she doesn't like pineapple- apricots (allergy)- tuna- maybe peanut butter a little bit.
