Yak Bak and Dancing

I honestly remember for my 13th birthday party I got a little device that was called a yak bak. It would record 15 second segments and then replay it back.. . who knew that my child would eventually do the same thing!
I do think my mind toys with me sometimes. But we (Brey and I ) point out things and she tries to say it right back. Well, 'K' as in 'kitty' or 'mickey' is her unofficial first word that she told us. We of course grained into her 'mama' and 'dada'. But now if she looks at something for a long time, we name it and then she tries to repeat it. For instance- she was staring at Brey's pants and he said 'belt buckle' -we know that is over her head- but i swear she tried to say it! She can't of course pronounce it but she sure tries! same with colors that i do with her through out the day (only one color each day) but she is getting good at saying 'red' in her mind and she points and nods her head. i am totally infatuated with her!
She also started a new dance. Before she would bounce at the knees or wave her arms up and down but now she is learning to twist and bobb her head! she loves watching my talk shows because intermittently on tyra or ellen have music playing and it plays just long enough for her to start moving and then quit. Leila might even think she is controlling the music when it stops- oh, she is just amazing some days- i just try to absorb it!
